Reinsurance Graduate Actuary (m/f/d) - REACH 2026
How you'll make an impact
As a Graduate Actuarial Analyst, you will be immersed in all aspects of front-line actuarial work for our clients from early in your career, including:
- Conducting risk analysis and modelling of clients’ portfolios for pitches and meetings and participation in client meetings.
- Assisting in building reinsurance pricing models and actuarial benchmarks.
- Designing and evaluating risk management strategies and reinsurance structures.
- Data collection and manipulation in spreadsheets and other database applications
- Developing expertise in using proprietary Financial Modelling and Reinsurance Optimisation software
You will also have the opportunity for:
- Domestic or global travel, as required
- Increasing opportunities for client interaction and responsibility as your experience and capabilities evolve
- Support for industry qualifications
About you
Educational Requirements
Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Financial Mathematics, or a related field (with at least 30 ECTS credit points in stochastics examinations, or at least 90 ECTS credit points in mathematical examinations during your studies).
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and keen interest in the fields of Insurance, Risk Management, and Reinsurance.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional numerical literacy and quantitative analysis skills.
- Proficiency in statistical and mathematical methodologies.
- Analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills in non-standard scenarios.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to propose and evaluate alternative solutions.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); additional language skills are a plus.
