General Summary

Located in the Munich office, this role operationally reports to the Director, Sales - DACH and functionally to the Regional Manager, Inside Sales & Customer Service - EMEA, and will combine training, support and guidance of the DACH ISR & Customer Service team to efficiently maximize strategic account development, customer service, and new business development in conjunction with both of the managers and aid the efforts required to meet and exceed the Company's goals and objectives.

An upbeat and positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and strong customer service orientation are critical to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support, training, and guidance to all ISR and Customer Service -DACH.
  • Ensure the sales office is operating at maximum efficiency by ensuring workload is evenly distributed and continue to examine ways of constantly improving and streamlining the office practices.
  • Set daily / weekly / monthly objectives for DACH team and its members, review these objectives and meet with specific individuals on a defined basis.
  • Ensure the sales office provides a first-class customer service by proactively driving all sales support functions.
  • Responsibility of their team work in synergy with strategy defined in conjunction with the Regional Manager, Inside Sales & Customer Service - EMEA
  • Ensure all ISRs are in full alignment with appropriate practices and procedures in place at our Global corporate headquarters.
  • Make sure that all ISRs and Customer Service - DACH training manual is kept up to date and all new/updated aspects added as required.
  • Support the monthly finance report collections sheet within an agreed timescale.
  • Perform all team members' reviews highlighting any concerns, training needs, or issues.
  • Responsible for their team Performance Reviews.
  • Provide required reportage to the Regional Manager, Inside Sales & Operations - EMEA Ensure all training updates from Global Corporate Headquarters are rolled out to all ISR and Operations - understood and adhered to by all team members
  • Manage 'On Time Delivery' (OTD) performance of RE Licensed Manufacturing purchase orders.
  • Responsibility for local pricing decisions to maximize regional revenue in line with the companies' guidelines
  • Responsibility for DACH Regional backlog management.
  • Drive trackable Business Development process to increase trading customer engagement.
  • Devising, roll-out and monitoring ISR and Customer Service - DACH quarterly sales promos.
  • Ad hoc Office Management responsibilities to support EMEA Office Manager, including vendor correspondence, translation, supply procurement, health and safety requirements but not limited.

Qualifications

  • Maintaining strong analytical skills and business acumen combined with a strong degree of creative flair and passion is required.
  • Flexibility and multi-tasking, ability to undertake several tasks simultaneously and manage them effectively.
  • Communication skills, confident and effective in explaining concepts and situations to co-workers, business partners and customers of differing languages and cultures.
  • German and English language is essential, any other European languages beneficial.
  • Problem solving, the ability to identify root cause, realize and implement solutions.
  • Performs successfully under light supervision.
  • Builds strong and successful relationships, effectively supporting and influencing colleagues, partners, suppliers, customers and members of the global team.
  • Demonstrates vision, passion, commitment, and integrity, transparency, taking responsibility and building trust.
  • Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
