- Act as the responsible point of contact for the internal and external stakeholders of our SAR processors and its corresponding data products
- Lead and coordinate the development of the next generation SAR processor, its data products from L0 to L2, and its -algorithms in ongoing satellite missions as well as upcoming projects from phase A/B until phase E
- Guide and support the software development team in the definition, testing, evaluation, and refinement of the SAR processor and its data products
- Manage and prioritize the software engineering tasks and backlog
- Monitor and optimize the interface and information exchange with the satellite-, instrument- and ground segment teams and technical departments
- Ensure the information flow between the software team and other stakeholders, working in an international team of experts from OHB and project partners
- Lead the control and evaluation of feature changes that impact the scope, budget, or timeline of the project
- Control technical progress, schedule, cost and quality in close collaboration with the project manager
- Identify, control and reduce software product- and development risks
- Prepare and conduct technical reviews and support project milestone reviews
- Report to the project management in reviews,technical- and project milestones
