IT Operations & Application Specialist (m/f/d)

Are you a seasoned ITprofessional with a strong blend of system administration expertise and apassion for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of critical engineering applications? ? We are seeking an ITOperations & Application Specialist to join our team. Inthis role, you will be instrumental in the planning, operation, and continuousimprovement of our complex application landscape, ensuring high availability,performance, and security. You'll bridge the gap between infrastructure and software,contributing to both operational excellence and quality assurance.

• Application Ownership: Take ownership of the integrity and health of existing and new engineering applications and their associated databases. This includes maintaining versioning, managing codebases across different environments, and ensuring database consistency, systems security and compliance.
• Software Deployment & Release Management: Support the team by deploying software solutions from external developers to various environments (e.g., test, staging, production).
• Collaborate effectively in IT projects working closely with internal and external teams to ensure quality, participating in verification as well as implementing new features.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: perform manual software testing to ensure the quality, functionality, and proper integration of new features and bug fixes. While focusing on manual testing, you will identify opportunities and actively contribute to the future vision of automating repetitive testing efforts, particularly utilizing tools like Selenium.
• Code Review & Understanding: Review source code (JavaScript, C#) to understand modifications, support troubleshooting, and effectively test changes implemented by external development partners.
