What this role is about:
We are looking for a Solutions Engineering Intern to handle the "heavy lifting" associated with our expansion into new markets. This is a core utility role designed to address a capacity gap and accelerate our international and domestic scaling. You will work alongside our senior engineering and product resources to front-load regulatory research and partner discovery that currently serves as a bottleneck.By the end of your internship, you will have developed an Expansion Playbook and become a subject matter expert for our European expansion, with the potential to transition into a full-time Solutions Engineer role.
What you'll do:
- Technical Discovery: Conduct deep-dive research into B2B customer requirements to support our growing ecosystem.
- Regulatory Scoping: Research messaging protocols and legal regulations for emergency services, specifically focusing on 112 in the EU (starting with France) and 999 in the UK.
- Partner Ecosystems: Identify, vet, and create a cost-benefit analysis for potential SMS aggregation partners.
- Demo Environment: Helping with manual testing of different demos in different scenarios such as different jurisdictions.
- Building Tools: Support both B2B and Public Safety Government (PSG) teams by building AI-driven tools to reduce manual overhead in day-to-day operations.
What we're looking for in our ideal candidate:
- Analytical Rigor: Ability to validate complex technical and legal requirements for emergency messaging (112/999).
- Technical Aptitude: Experience or interest in building functional, AI-driven toolkits and working with SMS aggregators.
- Strategic Thinking: Capability to move from a single-city pilot to a repeatable, scalable process.
- Mission-Driven: A passion for using technology to save lives and solve large-scale global challenges.
- Communication: Ability to deliver a comprehensive "Expansion Playbook" consisting of a compliance roadmap, partner selection matrix, and internal toolkits
- Timing: This internship will run from August 1 - October 31, 2026.
