About the Role
At ARX Robotics, security is a critical part of enabling innovation, operational resilience, and responsible growth. As Head of Security, you will lead and strengthen security operations across the organisation while helping shape scalable security standards and frameworks for the future.
This role combines hands-on operational responsibility with strategic impact. You will oversee site security, incident response, and emergency planning while partnering across teams to build a structured, forward-looking security function that supports a fast-growing defence technology environment.
What You'll Build
- Lead and develop on-site security operations, including access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and incident management
- Build and improve scalable security policies, frameworks, and operational standards across the organisation
- Manage relationships with external security providers, authorities, and emergency services
- Develop and maintain emergency response, evacuation, and business continuity procedures
- Conduct and support security and risk assessments across sites, operations, and functions
- Drive alignment of security practices across multiple locations while adapting to operational requirements
- Identify and implement practical mitigation strategies that support organisational growth and resilience
- Act as a key coordination point for physical and cyber security topics, including risk reviews and security testing activities
- Support personnel security measures and site protection initiatives where required
- Create clear reporting structures and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Promote a strong security awareness culture across the organisation
- Contribute to the development of a modern, scalable corporate security function within a dynamic defence technology company
What You Bring
- Experience in security, defence, military, law enforcement, critical infrastructure, or a related environment
- Strong understanding of physical security operations, systems, and site-level security management
- Experience handling security incidents, emergency response, and operational risk management
- Ability to combine hands-on execution with structured and strategic thinking
- Confidence working across operational teams, leadership, external partners, and authorities
- Experience contributing to security policies, frameworks, or organisational security standards is highly valuable
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across different organisational levels
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving and evolving environments
- Experience in international, multi-site, or highly regulated environments is a plus
- Exposure to business continuity management, personnel security, or executive protection is beneficial
