Nokia's Hardware Development Organization is seeking a Hardware Project Manager to lead the execution and evolution of nextgeneration hardware products, leveraging Nokia's inhouse Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technologies.

  • Proven ability to deliver complex hardware development programs on time and within scope
  • Strong program and project management discipline with excellent execution skills
  • Demonstrated success building effective relationships across engineering, operations, and business stakeholders
  • Solid leadership, decisionmaking, and problemsolving abilities
  • Agile mindset with the ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fastpaced, highpressure environment

  • Familiarity with product development lifecycle tools, defect tracking systems, test case management tools, Agile frameworks, and project planning tools
  • Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Excel




    Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar); Master's degree is a plus
  • 5-10 years of experience in hardware project or product management
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is highly desirable
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
  • Own and execute integrated project plans across requirements, design, verification, and validation phases
  • Partner closely with Technical Leaders and crossfunctional leads to drive execution scalability and ensure clear ownership and accountability for deliverables
  • Establish and maintain rigorous project tracking, milestone reporting, and action followup
  • Continuously identify, assess, and manage technical and program risks, working with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Track and report weekly progress against development milestones, highlighting risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans
  • Proactively identify issues, forecast impacts, and define corrective actions
  • Foster an open, collaborative, and resultsdriven working environment across global crossfunctional teams
  • Monitor project performance against short and longterm objectives using appropriate project management tools
  • Ensure project deliverables meet agreed constraints, including TimetoMarket (TTM) and budget targets
  • Provide regular, concise project status updates to senior management
  • Lead postmortem and lessonslearned reviews to drive continuous improvement
