Summary

Reporting to the Director, Brand Activation, the Marketing Communications Associate will be located in Besigheim. This position within the Weller Tools, Marketing Communications department is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of marketing communications strategies, with a primary focus on social media, online marketing and the organization of tradeshows and events, creating engaging content and driving results across various platforms. You will also support and execute internal/external Marketing projects and execute initiatives, that supports the company's strategic goals. This position interacts regularly with regional and global teams.

This position is time limited as a substitute for parental leave.



Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute online marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, website traffic, and conversions.
Organize global trade shows and brand activations, such as major industry fairs and support partner events by providing branded assets, content concepts, and digital visibility.
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across all relevant platforms. Create engaging content, manage posting schedules, and monitor audience engagement and feedback.
Support new product introductions with communication campaigns such as social media campaigns, e-mailings and online marketing campaigns.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of social media and online marketing campaigns, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize strategies and meet KPIs.
Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers, media outlets, and industry partners to amplify the company's message and reach new audiences
Collaborate on co-marketing opportunities and sponsored content to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Manage social media budgets efficiently, strategically allocating resources to maximize return on investment across channels.
Monitor competitive and industry marketing trends and apply acquired knowledge to drive performance.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce high-quality, compelling content for social media posts, articles, email newsletters, digital ads, and other online marketing efforts
Partner with design agencies and booth builders to organize tradeshows and events
