About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Engineer / Sales Manager to join our growing Sales Team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. This is a forward-facing, customer-centric role focused on business development and relationship management within the civil and military aerospace sector.

This position offers a clear career progression path, with the potential to step into a Business Unit Manager role within 2-5 years. You will play a key role in driving sales growth, identifying new opportunities, and shaping the future of our aerospace solutions.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development: Proactively acquire new business in collaboration with our Sales and Engineering teams.
Customer Relations: Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
Contract & Pricing: Support contract reviews and negotiate pricing agreements.
Sales & Market Strategy: Contribute to the Business Plan by setting and achieving booking and sales targets.
Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct technical market research to identify new opportunities.
Product Development Input: Provide insights for the product roadmap based on market demands.
Trade Shows & Events: Represent the company at industry fairs and events.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, and leadership teams.


What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in sales or project management within the aerospace industry (civil or military).
Technical degree preferred (but not required).
Knowledge of aviation technology and regulations is a plus.
Strong hunter mentality with a proactive and results-driven approach.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset – a thinker and doer who takes accountability.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
Strong proficiency in MS Office and presentation tools.
Willingness to travel (30-50%).
