Backend Engineer, Senior (Rust)
About the role:
We are in search of a solution-oriented Senior Software Engineer (Backend)with demonstrable experience inRust, to help guide the development of secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems for the Affinidi Elements platform. In this role, you will work with global peers on teams dedicated to areas of the product portfolio, from the product, design, infrastructure, architecture, and back/front-end engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include delivering a multi-component platform, leveraging your experience in helping to design and developing production-quality systems. - Deep knowledge ofTypeScript/Node.js;Dart experience strongly preferred

- Proven track record in developingdistributed systems using modern design patterns
- Skilled intechnical documentation(C4 Model, ADRs) and clear communication of architectural decisions
- Strong advocate forprivacy by design, security-first principles, and high-performance systems
- Experience with applyingasynchronous cryptographyin production-grade products
- Experience withauthorization/authentication domains; knowledge ofidentity, verifiable credentials, or secure data exchangeis a strong plus
- Comfortable thriving inautonomous, fast-moving startup environmentsand collaborating across global teams
