They are now set to transform the architectural facade market in Europe, offering enameled panels as a superior alternative to terracotta and other facade materials.
Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager - Europe who is well-connected within the architectural and facade design community. The mission is to position their enameled panels as the material of choice for iconic buildings - expanding their use both as facade elements and as a replacement for traditional terracotta facades.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen relationships with top-tier architects, facade consultants, and project developers across Europe.
- Drive the adoption of enameled panels in facade specifications, replacing terracotta and other materials.
- Secure landmark architectural projects, positioning our client as the partner of choice.
- Lead the specification-to-order journey, from design stage to project execution.
- Collaborate with marketing to produce design references, case studies, and inspirational content.
- Represent the client at architectural forums, exhibitions, and design events.
- Stay ahead of trends in facade systems, architectural design, and sustainable building materials.
Requirements
- 8-12 years in sales or business development in architectural materials, facades, or building products.
- Established network and credibility with leading architects and facade consultants in Europe.
- Strong design sensibility and ability to communicate in the language of architects and designers.
- Experience in specification sales - influencing material choices early in the design process.
- Demonstrated success in winning high-value, high-visibility projects.
- Entrepreneurial and persuasive, with the ability to open new markets and shift design preferences.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German or French is highly advantageous.
