Job Summary

NetApp is seeking a dynamic and results-driven District Sales Manager Commercial Sector to lead a team of sales professionals and drive revenue growth. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales goals, building partnerships, and coaching your team to success.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of sales representatives to exceed sales targets.
  • Develop strategies and plans to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.
  • Utilize your strong understanding of storage technologies and competitive offerings.
  • Apply effective sales techniques such as target account selling and solution selling.
  • Coach and develop team members to maximize their potential.


Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English are required.
  • Strong relationship building and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of storage technologies and market trends is desirable.
  • Experience in coaching and developing sales professionals.
  • Experience in sales roles combined with proven people management responsibility, including direct leadership of teams.
  • Ideally experienced in Mid-Market / Commercial sales, with strong exposure to "land & expand" motions and structured sales execution. Hunter mindset / new-logo acquisition experience strongly preferred, with a track record of proactive pipeline creation.
  • Experience leveraging AI in the sales process preferred.
  • Experience running programmatic campaigns preferred to generate demand/pipeline (multi-touch motions, vendor/BDR-supported campaigns).


This is a pipeline position that will be opened on a recurring basis and used to fill roles aligned with the required skill sets. Recruiting efforts will be ongoing until specific teams find an ideal match.
