Key Responsibilities:
- The engineer must perform additional tasks in the DC as required, under the guidance of the remote team.
- Hands & Feet Support (Infrastructure Physical Support).
- Datacenter/site safety, access controls, ESD handling.
- Rack and stack servers and network devices, and perform cable tracing and labeling.
- Component swaps: HDDs/SSDs, SFPs, NICs, PSUs, and fans per SOP.
- Physical checks: LEDs, link status, port mapping, and console connections.
- Power cycles, reseats, and loopback tests coordinated with remote teams.
- Vendor escorts, shipment receipts, RMA packing, and inventory updates.
- Onsite Support: Basic triage, password resets, peripheral setup.
- Hands & Feet Support Basic hands, cable tracing, escorted tasks
