We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the ARIS team in Germany to streamline and automate software development processes, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and enhance the developer experience.
Essential Functions
- Design and automate CI/CD pipelines following GitOps best practices
- Design and implementation of an Internal Developer Platform to improve developer experience
- Development of tools for automation and self-service within the software development lifecycle
- Administer and continuously improve our internal DevOps tools (including GitHub, Jira, Confluence)
- Collaborate with developers and CloudOps teams to optimize and standardize development processes
- Support the introduction of new innovative tools and technologies
- Define and implement standards, documentation, and best practices
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in software development with common programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python) and tools (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with Jira, Confluence or Jira Service Management
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- A proactive working style and a strong sense of ownership
- Experience in agile software development (Scrum)
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in both German and English
