Your Role:

As a Senior SAP ERP Security Specialist, you will lead the security architecture across SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC landscapes, ensuring that our enterprise security frameworks are meticulously aligned. Your responsibilities will require you to manage user access governance and compliance management while integrating robust security controls into critical business processes. You will actively monitor SAP systems for vulnerabilities and conduct thorough risk assessments, driving continuous improvement in our security processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, as you will provide strategic leadership in security governance and communicate security risks effectively to all stakeholders. You will also embed security principles across various business functions, enhancing secure configuration and change management practices. Implementing and enforcing a Zero Trust approach will be a crucial part of your role, where you will ensure strict identity verification and least-privilege access across SAP applications. As you lead security workstreams during SAP implementations and upgrades, your expertise will influence project lifecycles, securing systems from the ground up. Your contributions will have a direct impact on our organizational resilience and cybersecurity posture, making a substantial difference in the way security is perceived within our operational framework.

Who You Are:

  • You possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, IT technology, or a related field, with a graduate degree preferred.
  • You have numerous years of experience in SAP-based authorization, BASIS, and cybersecurity roles.
  • Your expertise includes a deep understanding of SAP security and authorization concepts, and proficiency in risk management.
  • You have advanced certifications in SAP Security or relevant technologies, such as SAP Certified Technology Associate.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at navigating complex cybersecurity issues.
  • Your excellent communication skills enable you to influence stakeholders at all levels effectively.
  • You are familiar with compliance standards such as NIS, KRITIS, GDPR, and SOX, along with cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience in managing teams and driving operational performance in a technology-driven environment is essential.
