Our client is a European start-up specializing in electronic warfare and precision localization in the defense sector, currently building a complete team across several locations.

Key points of the position:

Reporting to the CEO and CTO, you will contribute to the development of military-grade embedded systems.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, your missions will include:

  • Analyzing functional requirements and contributing to technical specifications,
  • Designing and developing embedded software in C language,
  • Developing hardware drivers to interface electronic components (MCUs),
  • Implementing communication protocols and optimizing timing performances,
  • Debugging embedded firmware and serial interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART...),
  • Supporting integration, testing, and debugging phases,
  • Contributing to embedded developments linked to an ecosystem of precision localization technologies, including UWB-based systems (no prior UWB experience required).


Necessary skills:

  • With a background in electronics or embedded systems, you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role,
  • You are proficient in embedded C development (STM32, ESP32, etc.),
  • You know how to debug serial interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART...),
  • Familiarity with cryptography, TrustZone, or data fusion is considered a plus (but not required),
  • Fluent English is imperative.


A defense clearance will be necessary for this position. You must have a European Union nationality.

Salary: 75-85k euros gross annual.
