1. Process and Work Preparation
- Creation and maintenance of routings as well as standardized process and work documents (SOPs, standard work instructions, Standard Work), including bills of materials and quotation calculations.
- Assignment of cost centers, quality certificates, and supplier batch numbers.
- Calculation and value updating.
- Definition of efficient manufacturing processes.
- Determination of production lead times, delivery times, and economical lot sizes.
2. Master Data and Workplace Management
- Creation and management of workplaces, including workplaces for external processing, as well as creation of storage locations.
- Workplace design in accordance with ergonomic and production-technical principles.
- Creation and administration of shift models.
- Maintenance of the plant calendar.
- Calculation of in-house and external manufacturing costs.
3. Data Analysis, Reporting and ERP Evaluations
- Preparation of analysis and reports based on ERP data.
- Maintenance of internal manufacturing lead times and total replenishment lead times.
4. Time Management / Industrial Engineering
- Execution of time studies.
- Determination of planned time data for routings.
5. Continuous Improvement / Process Optimization
- Development and implementation of process improvements.
- Review of product designs and initiation of improvement proposals.
- Coordination of the company suggestion scheme (BVW).
6. Project Work
- Independent handling of sub-projects, including project monitoring and control.
7. Inventory and Production Support
- Participation in the planning and preparation of the annual physical inventory in production in accordance with defined guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Skilled metalworker, technician/master craftsman, basic REFA certificate
- several years of professional experience
- Knowledge of ERP systems, MS Office 365 (Excel)
- Good written and spoken English skills
