About this position

What you'll do
  • Work at the global headquarters in Düsseldorf in a Corporate Governance role within Corporate Health, with a focus on health and exposure protection as well as on planning and implementing initiatives to promote a health-oriented corporate culture
  • Collaborate with health and safety experts from various disciplines on Henkel's global, interdisciplinary health management, e.g. within the global SHE Governance Team, the regional SHE teams, and the regional (medical) health managers
  • Ensure compliance with global legal requirements, reporting obligations, and governance standards
  • Develop occupational, emergency, and travel medicine standards as well as industrial hygiene standards, including procedures, guidelines, tools, training programs, and KPIs
  • Plan, monitor, report on, and define actions for the global medical enzyme monitoring program
  • Plan annual global health campaigns in the context of Global SHE Days and organize local health initiatives at the site
    Advance and implement digital tools for health protection
  • Promote collaboration with Human Resources and drive strategic projects with Safety, Health, and Environment teams


What makes you a good fit
  • Completed medical degree with professional clinical experience
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in occupational medicine, preferably including industrial hygiene or toxicology
    Proven experience working at a corporate headquarters in a global governance role
  • In-depth knowledge of occupational and emergency medicine processes, risk assessments, exposure protection, and hygiene requirements
  • Experience in international occupational health and safety within corporate governance structures
  • Confident handling of health governance and controlling processes as well as standards within a global SHE management system
  • Knowledge of travel medicine / travel health is desirable
  • Very good command of English and good command of German, both written and spoken
