To strengthen our team in Wetzlar, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative (m/f/d) who will ensure smooth goods movement and efficient warehouse organisation.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you are a key part of our logistics processes. You will take responsibility for goods receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch, actively contributing to the quality and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Goods Receiving
• Receipt of deliveries
• Checking deliveries against accompanying documents (type, quantity, condition)
• Carrying out quality inspections
Storage
• Proper storage of goods
• Systematic organisation of the warehouse
• Use of inventory management systems
Goods Out & Picking
• Picking and assembling customer orders
• Packing and labelling goods for dispatch
Inventory Control
• Regular stock checks
• Supporting stock takes and inventories
Teamwork
• Supporting colleagues as required
Working Environment
• Ensuring order, cleanliness, and structure within the warehouse
Flexibility
• Taking on additional tasks as instructed
Your Profile
Personal Qualifications
• Experience in a warehouse or similar operational environment
• Good written and spoken English skills are required
• Careful and structured working style with high attention to detail
• Physical resilience (lifting and moving goods up to 20 kg)
• Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility
• Ability to consistently follow processes and guidelines
• Good communication skills and a strong team mindset
Technical Qualifications (desirable)
• IT affinity and experience with inventory management systems (e.g. SAP)
• Experience with product calibration is an advantage
• Background in the automotive industry is beneficial
