Play an active role in shaping the future of information security with us: As an Information Security Specialist (m/f/d), you will play a key role in the development, operation and continuous optimization of our modern SIEM system. As part of a dedicated team, you will proactively monitor our IT landscape, analyze threats and manage security measures. Become a part of BAUR and contribute to sustainably protecting our innovative e-commerce platform and defending it against cyber threats!

Was Dich erwartet:

• You will set up and continuously optimize our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system.
• You proactively monitor our systems and networks for security incidents and anomalies.
• You will carry out threat analyses and derive preventive measures from them.
• As part of our agile security incident response team, you will coordinate and manage security incidents - from detection to resolution.
• You will play an active role in identifying, assessing and prioritizing vulnerabilities in our IT infrastructure and applications.
• You will coordinate cooperation with Security Operations Center (SoC) service providers.
• You will be responsible for preparing regular reports on the security status, incidents and vulnerabilities.

Was Du mitbringen solltest:

• You have a successfully completed degree with a focus on IT/computer science or a corresponding vocational training.
• You have relevant (professional) experience in the field of information security, cyber security and IT security as well as in the implementation of relevant measures.
• You have in-depth knowledge of the configuration and administration of common SIEM solutions (e.g. Splunk, Elastic SIEM, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar).
• Ideally, you have certifications in the area of information security, such as ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz or CISSP.
• You already have experience in analyzing logs, network traffic and system events to identify security threats.
• You are familiar with the detection, processing and documentation of security incidents.
• Strong communication skills and a high level of self-discipline are among your strengths.
• You are characterized by reliability and an independent way of thinking and working.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working round off your profile.
• You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.
