As a Working Student, you'll be an integral part of our Corporate Audit department, working closely with our Analytics team to enhance Hapag-Lloyd's processes. Your role will involve conducting data-based analyses, developing recommendations and presenting findings to drive positive change. About the Team
As a Working Student, you'll be an integral part of our Corporate Audit department, working closely with our Analytics team to enhance Hapag-Lloyd's processes. Your role will involve conducting data-based analyses, developing recommendations and presenting findings to drive positive change. You' will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, expand your business knowledge and collaborate with an international team.
Responsibilities
- Support the Corporate Audit team with analytical skills and data-driven insights
- Conduct in-depth analyses of audit-relevant issues and develop well-founded recommendations
- Expand your knowledge in business administration and logistics through various use cases
- Assist in argumentation and process improvement using data-based approaches
- Create meaningful visualizations using QlikSense to communicate complex insights
- Independently deploy your developed products in our Audit Shop for colleague use
- Collaborate with our international team across Hamburg, Dubai, Singapore and Santiago de Chile
- Work autonomously on projects and contribute to a steep learning curve
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a full-time degree in business administration, engineering, logistics, business informatics or a related field
- Willingness to explore advanced analytics tools beyond Excel, including no-code/low-code platforms and coding
- Curiosity and interest in container logistics processes with a desire for continuous learning
- Basic analytical skills and a passion for working with numbers and data
- Motivated by diverse projects and a fast-paced work environment
- Enthusiasm for state-of-the-art methods and technologies in the industry
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; German language skills are a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
