The operational buyer is responsible for day-to-day purchasing processes, including order processing, supplier communication, and monitoring delivery dates.

Tasks:
The operational buyer is responsible for day-to-day purchasing processes, including order processing, supplier communication, and monitoring delivery dates.
- Entering and processing purchase orders in the ERP system (SAP R3/S4 Hana)
- Ensuring material availability for production
- Coordinating and tracking delivery dates and communicating them to production
- Creating delivery schedule releases and releases for volume contracts/value contracts
- Sending releases to suppliers and obtaining or entering order confirmations
- Initiating appropriate measures to ensure delivery dates in the event of delays
- Coordinating with suppliers regarding logistics process optimizations
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training in a commercial or technical field
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in the electrical manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of the SAP modules MM / PP and proficiency in MS Office are desirable
- Experience working with technical drawings
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- High degree of independence and personal responsibility, as well as willingness to travel occasionally to suppliers and other locations
