Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team at Colosseum Dental! In this role, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process for our organization, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits to our employees. You will work closely with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as maintaining high levels of employee satisfaction. Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the entire payroll cycle, including preparing payslips, processing time off requests, managing leave accruals, and ensuring accurate tax reporting.
• Conduct thorough audits of payroll records to identify any errors or discrepancies, and take corrective action as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, such as minimum wage requirements, overtime rules, and tax reporting obligations.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information, adhering to strict data protection policies.
• Provide support to employees regarding payroll-related queries, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes with other human resources functions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures, ensuring clarity and consistency across all aspects of the payroll system.
• Stay updated on changes to employment legislation and payroll regulations, and implement necessary adjustments to ensure continued compliance.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 2 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably within a medium to large sized organization.
• Strong knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations, including minimum wage requirements, overtime rules, and tax reporting obligations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to perform complex calculations quickly and efficiently.
• Proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
