Job Description Summary
• We are seeking a highly skilled Manager - Strategic Business Planning (m/w/d) to lead program timing, drive cross-functional coordination, and support strategic decision-making across our operations.

• This role is critical to ensuring seamless execution of engineering changes, optimizing plant loading, and guiding capital investment strategies.

• You will play a key role in monitoring program performance, managing forecasting and budgeting, and supporting insourcing initiatives that are central to our organization's long-term goals.

*NOTE: this position can be filled in either Langen, Germany or in Legazpi/Zumaya, Spain*

Job Description:
  • Lead timing and planning for all in-plant programs, ensuring alignment with manpower, training, equipment, tooling, and facility requirements up to PPAP and SORP.
  • Coordinate engineering changes and ensure they align with program timing.
  • Analyze timing reports to identify risks and secure corrective action plans.
  • Track project costs and timing, reporting variances against baseline expectations.
  • Lead insourcing initiatives to support organizational integration and synergy goals.
  • Manage plant loading projects and develop strategic loading and footprint plans.
  • Conduct product cost due diligence to support informed decision-making.
  • Develop and guide capital expenditure (CapEx) strategy to support long-term objectives.
  • Maintain communication with teams across all DAUCH sites and with suppliers.
  • Interface with customers as needed to support program success.
  • Lead project appropriation processes, including financial submissions and approvals.
  • Create and implement reporting tools to support timing and program visibility.


Required Skills and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in program/project management or business operations.
    Preferred Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with manufacturing program timing (PPAP, SORP).
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Financial acumen related to CapEx, budgeting, and cost analysis.
  • Strong oral and written language competence in German or Spanish with English
