About Taxforce

We are building Germany's leading Tax Advisory firm. Taxforce was founded based on a simple observation: many business owners want a tax advisor who acts as a true sparring partner - proactive, responsive, and strategic. What they often get instead is a service provider: booking receipts and filing tax returns, with little real advisory.

Founded in 2025, Taxforce rethinks tax advisory from the ground up: AI-powered and highly automated, yet personal. We start with healthcare professionals - a complex and underserved segment - with the ambition to expand into many more industries over time.

This is a €40B market in Germany alone, with processes that have barely changed in decades. AI is now enabling a fundamental shift and there are no playbooks yet. We're writing them.

We are a small, highly ambitious team in Berlin, backed by €5M from Tenet VC and founded by alumni of Goldman Sachs, Harvard Business School, Bain & Company and the former Klarna Head of Engineering.

The Role

As Head of Medical, you will own Taxforce's medical vertical end-to-end - from growing our existing base of healthcare clients to building a category-defining offering for MVZs and beyond. This is a founder-level role: you will set the strategy, run the GTM, shape the product, and ultimately build and lead the team that scales this vertical into a standalone business.

Goals & Milestones
  • First 6 months: Grow organic revenue in the medical segment. Define what a "10x service" looks like versus non-specialist tax advisors, identify gaps in our current offering, and work with tax ops and tech teams to close them
  • First 12 months: Create a compelling offering for MVZs - high-ACV clients who, as economic buyers, see strong value in a top-tier accounting and tax partner. Build business cases for other attractive segments: hospitals, pharmacies, elderly care.
  • Long-term: Own full P&L responsibility for the vertical. Strengthen differentiation and create additional revenue streams through new medical segments and ancillary services (e.g. medical billing optimisation). Recruit and lead dedicated GTM and Product/Engineering teams as the vertical scales.


What You`ll Do
GTM & Revenue
  • Own revenue targets for the medical vertical and build the sales playbook from the ground up
  • Identify, test, and scale the highest-performing acquisition channels for healthcare professionals and MVZs
  • Build relationships with key players in the medical practice and MVZ ecosystem
Product & Service Design
  • Define what a best-in-class tax advisory experience looks like for doctors and MVZ operators
  • Identify service gaps and translate client needs into clear product requirements for our tax ops and engineering teams
  • Partner with tech to build AI-powered workflows that differentiate Taxforce from traditional advisors
Strategy & Business Development
  • Own the P&L for the medical vertical and be accountable for hitting revenue and margin targets
  • Identify and pursue partnerships with MVZ operators, medical roll-ups, and key referral networks to drive inbound deal flow
  • Acquire and build design customers as a basis for developing and validating the strategy of the medical vertical
Leadership
  • As the vertical grows, recruit and develop a dedicated GTM and product team
  • Report directly to the founders and contribute to company-wide strategy


Your Profile
Must-Haves
  • Embedded in the medical / MVZ / medical roll-up world: you understand how doctors think, how decisions are made, and you have relevant relationships
  • 3-6 years of work experience; high potential with the ability to grow into a senior leadership role
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you get things done, operate with high throughput, and navigate ambiguity well
  • Analytical and structured: you can break down complex problems, build business cases, and communicate clearly with product and tech teams


Nice-to-Haves
• Experience in a high-growth startup, consulting, or investment banking environment
• Familiarity with AI tools and comfort implementing lightweight automations
• Existing network within MVZ operators, medical roll-ups, or healthcare procurement
