Quality and Reliability Engineer (m/f/d)
Be the guardian of fab in-process wafer quality, safeguarding products by flawless performance and continuous improvement in a new manufacturing environment. You possess a sharp analytical mind, a proactive approach, and a commitment to setting the highest standards.
Job Responsibilities
As an experienced ESMC Manufacturing Quality & Reliability Engineer, you will be at the forefront of quality defense and assurance. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Risk Mitigation & Assessment: Proactively perform product reliability risk assessments for critical fab events, ensuring potential issues are identified and addressed before they impact performance.
2. Change Management & Assurance: Evaluate the impact of engineering changes on product quality and reliability, meticulously ensuring all procedures are followed and stringent quality and reliability criteria are consistently met.
3. Qualification & Monitoring: Drive and execute robust process/product qualifications, and establish routine reliability monitoring to maintain and elevate our product performance benchmarks.
4. Continuous Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to significantly reduce customer field/line returns (DPPM) through systematic and CPI methodologies.
5. Analytical Problem Solving: Apply structured and effective methodologies (e.g., PDCA, 8D, 3Leg/5Why, KT) to execute technical and analytical problem-solving, driving to root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
Job Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Engineering, Physics, Reliability, or a related field.
2. Experience: Greater than 5 years of working experience in semiconductor quality and reliability, integration, or product engineering.
3. Mindset: Motivated, demonstrating unwavering interest, commitment, and ownership in your endeavors.
4. Adaptability: Open-minded and flexible, embracing dynamic challenges as opportunities for growth.
5. Resilience: Positive, confident, and resilient under pressure, maintaining composure and effectiveness in demanding situations.
6. Proactivity: Possess a strong proactive attitude, anticipating needs and taking initiative.
7. Collaboration: A natural team-oriented player, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
8. Leadership: Demonstrated technical leadership skills, capable of guiding and influencing technical decisions.
9. Language: Fluent in English (company language). Basic communication skills in Mandarin or German are a plus.
10. Training: Available for on-the-job training in Taiwan, 6 to 9 months.
