What would be your key responsibilities
  • Development, preparation, and optimization of sales forecasts and planning for the EMEA region
  • Management of the sales pipeline and execution of project controlling (sales expectations, early warning system, project success measurement)
  • Responsibility for portfolio and marketing controlling (gains & losses, portfolio size, product categorization, market shares)
  • Execution of analysis projects regarding the profitability of customers, products, and regions, including preparation of results and derivation of recommendations for action for departments and management
  • Conducting customer segmentation and managing service level performance
  • Preparation, interpretation, and presentation of ad-hoc analyses
  • Creation of Power BI dashboards for senior management
  • Development and delivery of training sessions for the sales organization regarding the reporting landscape
  • Identification and implementation of process improvements
  • Close collaboration with Sales, IT, Operations, and Controlling departments

What will make you successful
  • Degree in economics or a comparable qualification
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in Controlling/Finance/Consulting or a similar position
  • Previous experience in Power BI
  • Quick understanding of business processes and organizational structures
  • Strong analytical skills and high affinity for numbers
  • Negotiation skills and assertiveness
  • Fluent in English and German (business level)
  • Solid MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • SAP knowledge (BW/CO/DP) is an advantage
