Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.

In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.
Your Responsibilities

  • Precise processing of optical fibers as well as mechanical and optical components into complex assemblies under cleanroom conditions


  • Alignment and fine adjustment of opto-mechatronic systems in a cleanroom environment


  • Quality inspection of manufactured systems


  • Operation of software-based testing and measurement equipment


  • Evaluation and documentation of test results in accordance with customer specifications


Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training or qualification in mechatronics, precision optics, precision mechanics, or a comparable technical field


  • Alternatively, practical experience in roles requiring a high level of fine motor skills - including non-technical professions


  • Confident handling of sensitive materials and enthusiasm for demanding, detail-oriented assembly work


  • Strong quality awareness and enjoyment of working in a manufacturing environment with a craftsmanship-focused character


  • High resilience, quick comprehension, and the ability to work with focus and precision


  • Basic PC skills as well as strong communication and teamwork abilities
