Manager Senior Accountant (all genders welcome) in the Finance department at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
Job mission:
Taking on more complex tasks such as K-SOX, fixed assets, IFRS and HGB reporting and forecasts as well as processing day-to-day business such as creating outgoing invoices, checking and approving incoming invoices and Concur reports as well as statistics and declarations.

Job mission:
Taking on more complex tasks such as K-SOX, fixed assets, IFRS and HGB reporting and forecasts as well as processing day-to-day business such as creating outgoing invoices, checking and approving incoming invoices and Concur reports as well as statistics and declarations.
Your responsibilities:
The following are main tasks and main responsibilities, but not limited:
- Processing and checking incoming invoices with SAP in compliance with legal and internal regulations
- Checking and approving travel expenses and other business expenses in accordance with current legal and internal requirements
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB related reporting together with Senior Manager Accounting
- Perform and document SoX controls
- Preparation of outgoing invoices
- Responsible for asset accounting with all transactions and inventory
- Responsible for preparation of advance VAT returns
- Manage internal and external audits together with Senior Manager Accounting
- Processing of payroll with analysis
- Monitoring and timely processing of advance payments
- Responsible for bank statements postings
- Preparation of ad hoc reports
- Continuous review of policies, processes and systems in finance and accounting and development of suggestions for improvement
Your talents:
Education:
- Degree in Finance or Business or preferred or completed professional training with further training as an Balance accountant/(Bilanzbuchhalter).
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience of working in an Accounting department.
Skills:
- Strong accounting background in HGB and/or IFRS desirable
- Very precise, structured and reliable way of working
- Strong Excel skills
- Good knowledge of SAP-FI
- A special affinity for facts and figures
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Team spirit characterizes you and is important to you
- Fluent in German (C1 level) and English
