Advantest is a global leader in automatic test equipment for the semiconductor industry. Our V93000 platform is used to test the world's most advanced semiconductor devices.
To meet the ever-increasing testing requirements of modern integrated circuits, we are continuously expanding our platform to support new hardware modules. To strengthen our development team, we are looking for a Hardware Engineer for the Power System and Infrastructure Area
You will be responsible for the design, development, and characterization of new system elements, as well as the execution and evaluation of qualification tests at our Böblingen location. You will work independently in an agile work environment with flat hierarchies.
• University degree in Mechatronics or a comparable technical discipline with good knowledge in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in the areas of multi-KW power supply HW and Thermal management of high power electronic equipment
• Good knowledge of measurement technology and analytical skills
• Strong team working and problem-solving skills, superior communication skills (cross-functional, internal/external, cross-cultural) across hierarchy levels
• Fluent in German and English language
Furthermore, ideal qualificaitons:
• Knowledge and experience of Manufacturing processes for Power electronics and mechanics
• Experience with CAD Toools for simulation, schematic entry, and mechanical construction
