- Provide nursing support in the Referral Management Center (RMC).
- Process specialty care referrals: validate eligibility, register/update patients in MHS GENESIS/DEERS, and schedule appointments within Access to Care standards.
- Clarify non-TRICARE covered benefits with BCAC.
- Provide pre-appointment instructions and ensure patients leave with required documentation.
- Track referrals through MTF, network, and non-network providers; ensure timely return of results to referring providers.
- Assist in monthly statistical report preparation and quality assurance reviews.
- Deliver customer service including greeting patients, routing calls, and assisting providers with referral needs.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation per MTF and DHA standards.
- Participate in professional meetings, training, and continuing education.
- Provide immediate evaluation of emergency problems as required.
- Graduate of an approved National League of Nursing LPN program.
- Active, unrestricted nursing license in a U.S. jurisdiction.
- Current BLS certification.
- Familiarity with TRICARE, referral management, and medical records systems.
