WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our team, you will support the preparation, validation, and operation of mission-critical satellite ground systems within a customer's Satellite Control Centre, contributing to both system setup and routine operations in an international environment.

Your main tasks will be:

Training& Knowledge Acquisition:

• Multi-monthtraining with GMV experts to learn the GMV Mission Control Suite.
• Follow-uponboarding at customer site to learn infrastructure, workflows, andrequirements and getting the certification.

SatelliteControl Centre Setup & Deployment:

• Supportsetup and commissioning of a new Satellite Control Centre with GMV and customerteams with focus on ground operations.
• Assist with installation,configuration and validation of the GMV Mission Control Suite.
• Developmentand delivery of ground operational products.
• Participate in system-leveltests, simulations and readiness reviews.

GroundSegment Operation:

• Develop/maintainprocedures, scripts, dashboards and mission databases.
• Monitor ground systemsand resolve anomalies.
• Support operational planning, reporting and softwarevalidation.
• Occasional travel between control centers (travel allowance provided).

Documentation,Training & Knowledge Transfer:

• Maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Deliver training to newoperators.
• Support structured handover processes.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for experts in Aerospace-, Telecommunication-, Electrical- or Computer Engineering with backgroundand interest in Ground Operations Engineering.

If this position sounds like a perfect fit for you, here's what we're looking for in detail:

• Experience in Ground Operations Engineering role in a satellite control center(preferred) or in mission-critical systems or operational environments.
• Strong Linux, networking and system integration skills.
• Scripting(Python/Bash) and troubleshooting abilities.
• English (full proficiency) andGerman (basic/intermediate but willingness to get proficiency).
• Ability towork onsite in secure environment near Munich and be on-call for criticalperiods.
• Ability to travel occasionally between different customer sites.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and coordination skills.

We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:

• GMV Mission Control Suite or similar tools.
• Satellite Operations or Control Centers.
