WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
Asa Ground Segment Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance,evolution, and development of the Galileo Ground Control Segment (GCS). Youwill work closely with various teams to ensure the successful execution ofproject tasks and contribute to the overall success of the Galileo program.

We are looking for experts in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with backgroundand interest in ground segment engineering, preferablywithin the aerospace industry.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

- Support in the integration, regression testing, and final implementation of newor upgrade ground control segment releases.
- Monitor system performance andtroubleshoot technical problems.
- Conduct testing and validation of new systemsand components, and report on test results.
- Support the ground segmentconfiguration control.
- Ensure the consistency of engineering activities withrespect to the qualification and acceptance test program.
- Prepare technicalreports and documentation for system operations and maintenance.
- Participatein the training of staff on new systems and procedures.
- Respond to incidentsand system failures, taking necessary corrective action.
- Support meetings andtechnical reviews with other stakeholders.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for experts in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with backgroundand interest in ground segment engineering, preferablywithin the aerospace industry.

- Strong knowledge of software installation, configuration, and testing.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Capacity to work autonomouslyand take initiative.
We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:
- Linux Systems and Scripting.
- Knowledge of satellite navigation systems.
- Experience with automation tools and processes.
- Hands-on experience withsatellite ground station equipment and operations.
- Familiarity with agilemethodologies
