About the Role:

Infosys is seeking a Lead Techno-Functional Consultant with extensive experience in Field Service Management (FSM) solutions and a strong background in the utilities domain, particularly in the European market. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving FSM solution implementations for electric and gas utilities across a multi-technology landscape.

You will lead the end-to-end design and deployment of FSM platforms, act as a liaison between business and technical teams, and play a pivotal role in delivering value to our utility clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, build, testing, and deployment of FSM solutions on platforms like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, IFS, etc.
  • Conduct technical and functional workshops with clients to gather requirements and present product demos.
  • Map client requirements to FSM platform capabilities and propose custom solutions or configurations.
  • Prepare AS-IS and TO-BE process documents, identify product gaps, and suggest workarounds or customizations.
  • Manage and review functional design documents, configuration documents, and integration frameworks.
  • Collaborate with GIS system vendors and internal teams for seamless integration.
  • Provide thought leadership across full-cycle FSM implementations, ensuring alignment with European utility data models and regulatory standards.
  • Lead project teams and ensure timely resolution of issues during support and post-Go Live phases.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for product vendors and manage client expectations effectively.
Required Qualifications:
  • 14+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 10 years in FSM implementations for utilities.
  • Proven experience in 4+ end-to-end FSM implementation cycles in electric, water, or gas utilities.
  • Fluency in German and professional proficiency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of FSM platforms, GIS solutions, and utility data models relevant to European markets.
  • Solid knowledge of integration patterns with ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.
  • Deep understanding of regulated and deregulated energy markets in Europe.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.
