Senior Authorised Person (Electrical) We are looking for an experienced Senior Authorised Person to lead electrical safety on complex engineering and construction projects.
The role is responsible for managing HV/MV/LV systems, including safe isolation, energisation, switching, and enforcing electrical safety procedures such as lock-out/tag-out and permit-to-work systems.
You will ensure compliance with all safety rules, review risk assessments and method statements, manage arc flash and electrical hazards, and oversee commissioning activities through to energisation.
Key requirements include:
- Qualified electrician with relevant certification
- Experience with HV/MV/LV switching and testing
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety systems and regulations
- Ability to manage high-risk activities and lead teams
- Competence in fault finding, testing, and commissioning processes
