We're looking for a Chief of Staff - Performance & Execution who will architect and own Almedia's company-wide performance engine from the ground up. This is a foundational role for a structured operator ready to build the systems, frameworks, and culture that turn ambition into consistent, measurable execution across every department.

What You'll Do
  • Design and implement a company-wide performance management system using AI-led tools, defining KPIs and performance multipliers across R&D, Product, and Go-to-Market
  • Coach and challenge department leads on high-performance standards, accountability, and execution - including pushing back at senior level when needed
  • Build the reward architecture - own and evolve bonus, equity, and commission structures that directly reflect performance outcomes
  • Introduce elite operating rhythms - performance rituals, resilience frameworks, and execution systems used by the world's top-performing organisations
  • Grow a team - start as a solo operator and build direct reports underneath you as the performance function scales with Almedia


What You'll Bring
  • Experience building performance systems from scratch in a high-growth startup (50-300 people scaling fast)
  • Proven ability to work at C-level proximity - influencing, challenging, and aligning senior stakeholders across functions
  • Hands-on experience designing compensation frameworks - bonuses, equity, commissions - tied to measurable performance outcomes
  • A track record of driving accountability culture in fast-paced environments - you've introduced OKRs, KPIs, or performance multipliers that actually stuck
  • Bonus: Experience translating high-performance methodologies from elite environments (military, professional sports, top-tier consulting) into a corporate/startup context
