Are you an experienced Mechanical & Piping Estimator looking to work on some of Europe's most complex and technically advanced projects?
We are supporting a fast-growing, international construction organisation delivering high-tech facilities across the Life Sciences and Data Center sectors. With a strong footprint across Germany and Switzerland, this business is known for delivering sophisticated, mission-critical projects using a highly collaborative and engineering-led approach.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Mechanical and Piping Estimator / Kalkulator to strengthen their preconstruction team in Frankfurt.

The Role
As a Mechanical & Piping Estimator, you will play a key role in shaping project success from early concept through to final construction documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing conceptual budgets and detailed cost estimates for Mechanical & Plumbing works
  • Preparing independent cost estimates, tenders, financial analyses, and pricing strategies
  • Reviewing technical drawings and specifications, ensuring scope alignment across MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Fire Protection, BMS/BAS, EPMS)
  • Driving Value Engineering initiatives and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Leading communication with MEP subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
  • Supporting procurement and tendering, including commercial evaluation and negotiations
  • Collaborating with preconstruction and design teams to manage risk, scope clarity, and cost certainty
What We're Looking For
  • Apprenticeship or degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
  • 5 years' experience in Mechanical & Plumbing estimating
  • Background in Data Centers, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Advanced Technology projects
  • Strong knowledge of local German standards, market norms, and supply chain
  • Experience using cost estimating, quantity take-off, CAD, and MS Office tools
  • A structured, analytical working style with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple preconstruction workflows in a dynamic environment
