Manager, Services Consulting - (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

The Role:

As Consulting Manager Automotive DACH, you will lead, guide and develop a team of 5-10 Consultants. You are responsible for driving successful deployments of the newest Celonis and AI technologies across our DACH Automotive customers. This includes to drive services sales cycles, incl. project scoping and service proposal creation, and ensure strong customer engagement management during Celonis implementations driven by your team.

You will partner cross-functionally to support all customer engagement efforts and will liaise frequently with the Sales and Value Engineering (=Pre-Sales) teams to ensure customer satisfaction, project success and adoption of the Celonis platform.

The Work You'll Do:

  • People - build, support, enable a high performance team; lead and manage a team of approx. 5-10 Celonis Consultants; develop career paths for team members that allow for growth and development within the Services organization and Celonis overall; proactively manage attrition, productivity, resource allocation/staffing, team motivation and training, across the Consulting team
  • Delivery - manage a portfolio of different project types to success (Outcome-Based or Fixed-Scope Deployments, AI-Focused service packages, overarching customer success packages, or Enterprise Readiness Programs); build relationships directly with largest/most strategic automotive customers in the DACH region; ensure timely and high-quality deployments of the Celonis technology, with a constant focus on driving measurable business impact and delivering tangible value, that meet customer requirements, accelerate time to first value and drive measurable business impact; communicate with stakeholders in Celonis' largest customers, handle escalations and navigate challenging situations with positive and balanced results; manage, forecast and monitor resource capacity and utilization, staffing all customer engagements appropriately
  • Sales - position and sell the right services, work closely and build trust with Sales and Value Engineering to support ACV land and expand motions; maximize services revenue and ensure utilization targets; manage your deal pipeline and provide weekly updates on your revenue forecast to Senior Leadership
  • Value and Adoption - Drive a value-focused mindset within the team, ensure project governance to deliver rapid, tangible improvements and fast ROI; drive user adoption of the Celonis technology by ensuring comprehensive adoption plans are incorporated into each project, including user onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer, in collaboration with the Academy.
  • Product and AI - foster a culture of technical curiosity and adoption of AI and innovation within the consulting organization; orchestrate thought leadership by collaborating with internal specialists to guide customers through new AI-driven product frontiers; drive the readiness of your team, ensuring that consultants are fully enabled and strategically positioned to integrate the latest Celonis AI capabilities into their customer engagements

The qualifications you need:

  • 8 or more years of experience in delivering high complex SaaS or Consulting projects, acting as Manager in Business Consulting, or acting as Manager in Professional Services or similar functions.
  • Experience in managing Professional Services or Consulting teams, preferably in enterprise SaaS companies.
  • Proven track record of leading complex transformational customer programs.
  • Extensive experience in project management disciplines, including leading teams of project managers.
  • Strong understanding of software implementation/delivery
  • Experience of building relationships with sales teams, involvement in deals
  • Proven leadership in interacting with senior / executive level customers
  • Experience in motivating and retaining top talent
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
