For our renowned luxury hotel in the heart of Berlin, we are seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial-minded Executive Chef (m/f/d) with strong leadership skills and a spirit of innovation, to start in August 2026.
Your Responsibilities
As Executive Chef (m/f/d), you will have overall responsibility for the culinary direction and operational management of the following areas:
Event area for 10-600 guests
Breakfast
A-la-carte restaurant
Stewarding
You will lead, motivate, and develop a kitchen team (15 employees and 6 trainees) and ensure smooth operations at the highest quality standards.
Your Responsibilities
Overall operational and strategic management of the kitchen areas
Analysis and optimization of all processes with regard to cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and staff planning
Development of modern, innovative food concepts and new menu ideas
Close collaboration with the F&B Manager, sales, and event teams
You will create a kitchen that combines efficiency, team spirit, and excellence
Job Requirements:
Culinary training, experience in the upscale hospitality industry, ideally coming from a second-line management role as the next step in your career
Experience managing teams across multiple locations
Strong cost awareness
High level of innovation and a keen sense of modern culinary trends
Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
Ability to work under pressure, organizational skills, and a hands-on mentality
Very good German and English language skills
International experience is a plus
