Production Planner (m/f/d)

We - MT Aerospace - are part of the OHB Space and Technology Group. As a leading international aerospace company, we develop, manufacture and test essential components for launcher programs such as Ariane, the U.S. Space Launch System (SLS) as well as commercial launcher systems, the Airbus fleet, spacecrafts, satellites and defense applications. Your Tasks

• Scheduling of production orders; determining production sequences whilst taking into account deadlines, production and material capacities
• Order management in SAP
• Forecasting and schedule monitoring, as well as internal coordination with the relevant departments
• Initiating corrective measures in the responsible departments in the event of schedule deviations
• Ongoing optimisation of master data, such as safety stock, lead times and standard delivery times
• Special analyses and evaluations as part of corporate planning
• Collaboration in defining a company-wide S&OP process and assuming the resulting role for planning
• Optimisation of the planning process in SAP R3 / SAP 4HANA

Your Qualifications

• Master craftsman/technician or a degree in engineering
• Several years of professional experience in scheduling and production control in one of the following areas: mechanical machining, forming, assembly or welding (desirable)
• Very good knowledge of SAP R3 / SAP 4HANA, particularly the PP / SD / MM modules
• Proactive and independent working style / hands-on mentality
• Experience with supply chain processes and supplier management
• Experience with the manufacture, machining and assembly of (large) components/assemblies for the aerospace industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as MS Project
• Fluent in spoken and written English
