Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of customer equipment in a timely, thorough, and professional manner.
  • Act as the resident technical expert at the Audi site, building strong working relationships with customer engineering, production, and management teams.
  • Manage and execute preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration activities (onsite or returntoKeysight), aligned with Audi’s production and test schedules.
  • Perform installation, commissioning, and upgrades of hardware, software, firmware, and service notes.
  • Support the Global Solutions Delivery team with onsite installation and commissioning of complete test systems and solutions.
  • Support regional and global project teams with service strategy planning, implementation, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Coordinate and supervise thirdparty service providers working on-site at Audi.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional Keysight teams (R&D, factory, logistics, project management) to resolve complex repair cases and technical escalations.
  • Deliver technical training to Audi engineers and technicians as required.
  • Independently determine and develop approaches to varied and complex technical assignments.
  • Lead service and support activities requiring coordination with customers, suppliers, and internal Keysight organizations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex systemlevel issues involving hardware, power electronics, highvoltage and highcurrent systems.


Qualifications


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English (German is highly desirable for effective onsite customer interaction).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel by car and air when required.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel across Europe on short notice when needed, despite being a primarily resident role.
  • Strong working knowledge of battery test technologies and automotive test solutions is highly advantageous.
  • Solid experience in electrical, electronic, and electromechanical troubleshooting, with emphasis on power electronics and highenergy systems.
  • Previous onsite commissioning, resident engineer, or service delivery experience in an automotive or industrial environment is preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Windows OS, Linux, and networking.
