Talent Acquisition Partner, EMEA

Planet
Berlin, Germany Vollzeit
Reference: 102_700319_7926497

About the Role:

Planet's mission to image the world every day depends on the engineers, commercial leaders, and operational specialists we hire across Europe and the broader EMEA region. As Talent Acquisition Partner, EMEA, you will own full-cycle hiring across Planet's EMEA portfolio - engineering, commercial, and G&A roles - partnering directly with hiring managers from intake through offer to deliver hires with the quality and pace Planet's growth requires.

This is a 6-month fixed-term position based in our Berlin office 3 days per week, designed to add experienced delivery capacity to Planet's EMEA Talent Acquisition team during a period of elevated hiring demand. You will report to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, and work closely with EMEA-based hiring leaders and the regional TA team to keep Planet's hiring pipeline moving with consistency and quality across functions.

Impact You'll Own:

  • Own full-cycle hiring across an active requisition portfolio spanning engineering, commercial, and G&A functions in Berlin, the UK, and other EMEA markets.
  • Partner with hiring managers from intake through offer - running structured intake meetings, calibrating on profile and market, building search strategy, and driving day-to-day execution.
  • Source actively when inbound pipeline is insufficient - particularly for senior, technical, and hard-to-fill roles - using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and modern sourcing platforms.
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate experience from first touch to onboarding, ensuring every candidate - hired or not - leaves with a positive impression of Planet.
  • Coordinate interview process logistics in partnership with the Talent Operations team, including scorecard quality, panel composition, and debrief discipline.
  • Negotiate and close offers in partnership with hiring managers and People Business Partners, navigating EMEA-specific compensation, benefits, and employment-law considerations.
  • Maintain accurate, complete data in Greenhouse to support reporting, forecasting, and process visibility across the team.
  • Operate as a consultative subject matter expert on EMEA talent markets - bringing data, market signals, and recommendations to every hiring partnership, not just executing on instructions.

What You Bring:

  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with meaningful EMEA hiring exposure across Germany, the UK, or the broader European market.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Ability to run a portfolio of 8-15 concurrent requisitions across mixed function types (technical and non-technical) while maintaining quality and candidate experience.
  • Highly consultative orientation with hiring managers - comfortable running structured intakes, calibrating on profile, and offering candid pushback when the search strategy needs adjustment.
  • Working knowledge of the EMEA employment context - work authorization considerations, regional compensation norms, and candidate market dynamics - particularly in Germany and the UK.
  • Sourcing capability where inbound flow is insufficient: LinkedIn Recruiter fluency, Boolean search construction, and experience with modern sourcing platforms.
  • Expertise in an applicant tracking system (Greenhouse preferred) and modern scheduling/coordination tooling.
  • Self-directed, organized operating style - able to pick up an in-flight portfolio and produce within weeks, not months.
  • Comfort operating across time zones and asynchronously with U.S.-based stakeholders, including hiring leaders and the broader TA team.

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Business-level German language skills.
  • Prior in-house TA experience at a scaling deep-tech, hardware, satellite, aerospace, or geospatial company.
  • Experience hiring senior engineering or commercial leaders in EMEA (Director-level and above).
  • Fluent operating experience with Greenhouse, GoodTime, or LinkedIn Recruiter at a power-user level.
  • Track record of integrating quickly into in-flight team workflows and contributing meaningfully from day one.
