Electrical Package Owner - Pharma Project

PM Group are seeking an experienced Electrical Package Owner to join an upcoming pharma construction project team in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of electrical packages from design development through construction, commissioning, and handover for a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
• Oversee electrical design coordination, including power distribution systems, emergency power, UPS, and building services interfaces, ensuring alignment with project and operational requirements.
• Manage contractor procurement, selection, and performance, ensuring high-quality electrical installations in compliance with project specifications and pharmaceutical standards.
• Coordinate with process, automation, and multidiscipline teams to ensure electrical systems fully support manufacturing operations, cleanroom environments, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise installation of critical electrical infrastructure, including MV/LV distribution, standby generation, UPS systems, and cleanroom power systems.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable electrical codes, EU directives, GMP requirements, and industry best practices throughout all project phases.
• Manage package budget, schedule, and change control processes, maintaining a strong focus on cost, quality, and timely delivery.
• Lead design reviews, technical submittal approvals, and coordination workshops with engineering, construction, and client teams.
• Oversee electrical commissioning activities, including system energization, functional testing, and support to CQV (Commissioning, Qualification, Validation) activities.
• Support system handover by ensuring all documentation, QA/QC records, and test certifications are complete and meet project and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experienced managing Electrical construction projects, preferably within pharmaceutical or process manufacturing industries
• Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, EU safety standards, and pharmaceutical industry requirements for electrical and control systems
• Experience with pharma facility qualification for electrical and instrumentation systems
• Understanding of process control systems, automation technologies, and specialized electrical requirements for pharma manufacturing
• Proven track record managing complex technical packages with multiple stakeholders and regulatory requirements
• Bachelor's degree / diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Advanced German and English language skills
