Role Title: SAP IPLM Consultant
Must Have Skills: SAP IPLM
Minimum years of experience: 8-10 years
Job Summary:
Experience
• 8-10 years of overall IT experience
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in SAP PLM / IPLM, preferably with exposure to SAP S/4HANA
• Experience working on end-to-end SAP PLM implementations across at least one full project lifecycle
• Hands-on experience in customer-facing roles, supporting workshops, design, testing, and deployment activities
Responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of Business Processes
• Conduct business analysis to improve PLM and innovation processes
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for SAP solutions
• Design and optimize master data architecture, including Material, BOM, Document Information Record, and Serial Number, etc.
• Ensure smooth integration of PLM and ERP systems
• Support and contribute to the implementation, testing, and rollout of SAP-based applications
• Stay informed on SAP S/4 innovations and recommend best practices
• Execute and support testing phases to validate process efficiency and system functionality
• Design and configure end-to-end business processes under solution governance
• Help customers adopt SAP Best Practices
• Create Process Definition Document / Design Document (PDD/BDD) and Business Process Procedure (BPP)
• Participate in business process blueprint sessions with end users and gather requirements
• Create Functional Specifications and Functional Design Documents
Skills
• SAP application design, development, integration, testing, and deployment
• Understanding of SAP application technical architecture
• Good business process and domain knowledge
• SAP solution expertise
• Strong SAP technical, configuration, and business-area knowledge in PLM, with solid understanding of Material Master, BOM, Document Info Record, etc.
