Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer - L2 with strong troubleshooting skills and German language proficiency (B2/C1 level) to support enterprise network infrastructure and provide technical support for European clients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2 support for network incidents, service requests, and problem management.
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routing, switching, and firewall-related issues.
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices.
Work with escalation teams, vendors, and onsite engineers for issue resolution.
Support network changes, upgrades, and patching activities.
Create and maintain technical documentation and incident reports.
Communicate with German-speaking users and stakeholders via calls, emails, and tickets.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, routing & switching.
Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, or Fortinet technologies.
Hands-on experience with monitoring and ticketing tools.
Understanding of ITIL processes and SLA management.
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Language Requirement
German language proficiency: B2 or C1 level (mandatory).
Ability to communicate effectively with German-speaking clients.
Good English communication skills.
Experience & Qualification
3-6+ years of experience in Network Support / Network Engineering.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
