JOB TITLE: Network Engineer - L2

Location- Frankfurt and Berlin.

German Speaker C1 Level

Experience: 10 years of relevant networking experience

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced L2 Network Engineers to support enterprise network operations and infrastructure activities across Frankfurt and Berlin locations. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting capabilities, hands-on networking experience, and excellent communication skills in German and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage enterprise network infrastructure
• Perform L2 troubleshooting for routing, switching, and connectivity issues
• Handle incidents, service requests, and escalation support
• Configure and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Support LAN/WAN, VPN, WLAN, and data center network operations
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and cross-functional technical teams
• Ensure SLA compliance and operational excellence
• Document incidents, resolutions, and network changes

Required Skills

• Strong experience in:
• Routing & Switching
• TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP
• Cisco / Juniper / Aruba networking technologies
• Firewall and VPN troubleshooting
• Network monitoring tools
• Experience in incident management and ticketing systems
• Understanding of ITIL processes
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

Mandatory Requirements

• German Language Proficiency: C1 Level
• Ability to work onsite in Frankfurt or Berlin
• Prior experience in L2 Network Support roles
• EU work authorization preferred

• CCNA / CCNP
• JNCIA / JNCIS
• ITIL Foundation
