You will be hands on and collaborate with a team of both Technicians and Operators to ensure the automated facilities and systems have maximum performance and availability.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preventative and corrective maintenance on automated systems, which include working in both electrical and mechanical areas
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding, with trouble shooting on automated systems for equipment such as storage and retrieval cranes, shuttles, and buffer systems
- Assisting the operation to ensure maximum system availability
- Working towards increasing equipment reliability by continuously improving and initiating processes and support
- Responding efficiently to breakdown conditions to minimise equipment down time
- Communicating extensively with key stakeholders: Operations and Planning teams
- Ensuring OHS, Environmental and Quality compliance to an uncompromising level
The ideal candidate will have:
- Electrical (A-Grade) qualification or Fitter and Turner qualification
- Must have worked in an industrial environment
- A mechanical aptitude
- Be comfortable working some of the time in a cold store (-23 degrees) environment
- While training will be provided on our WMS, computer competency is vital
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Physically fit and capable of working at heights
- 4 on 4 off roster, rotating Day and Nights
