Construction Director (m/f/d)

For our projects in the Frankfurt, Dresden area and other locations across Germany, you will take full responsibility as Construction Director (m/f/d) for the execution of complex EPC projects in the Data Center and high-tech industries.

You will lead large site teams, manage all construction activities, and drive project success with both strategic vision and operational excellence.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Responsible for overall construction performanceon large EPC projects in the biopharma and life sciences industry, covering EHS, financials, schedule, and quality.
• Lead the Exyte construction team on site, including managing subcontractor meetings and motivating internal and external project team members.
• Develop and implement the construction execution plan, including defining construction sequences and schedules at project start.
• Establish and monitor KPIsto measure on-site construction performance, ensuring compliance with corporate procedures and standards.
• Maintain strong client communication and relationshipsthroughout the project lifecycle.
• Report construction status to company managementand actively contribute to risk identification and mitigation planning.

Show your expertise

• Successfully completed studies in the field of construction engineering or management, architecture or similar

• Several years of experience in related industries (biopharma, life sciences) and EPC construction management experience

• Fluent German skills, very good English skills

• Detailed knowledge of construction sequences and construction methodologies

• Track record of successful project delivery within a large organization

• Willingness and ability to travel and stay on site for a longer period
