We are looking for an experienced R&D Project Manager / System Project Lead (m/f/d) to drive complex development projects, ranging from next-generation quantum computers to technology partnerships with chip and hardware manufacturers.
Important: You do not need to be a quantum expert. Your strength lies in structuring and driving projects in a highly complex technical environment.

Your responsibilities: R&D with focus, clarity and impact
Lead complex R&D projects in a deep-tech and hardware environment
Plan and steer projects along the critical path, from concept phase to functional system
Coordinate interdisciplinary teams and external technology partners, such as chip manufacturers and hardware suppliers
Manage interfaces between physics, engineering, software and management
Further develop project management standards, tools and processes for a growing R&D landscape
Ensure transparency, risk management and decision-making support for executive management
Your profile
At least five years of experience in project management, ideally in an R&D, hardware, plant engineering or high-tech environment
Strong understanding of technical contexts, without needing to be a deep-tech expert yourself
Ability to lead complex development projects in a structured, clear and solution-oriented way
Very strong communication skills with technical teams, stakeholders and external partners
Very good German and English skills
Nice to have: experience with R&D processes, technology partnerships, hybrid project management methods or building project management structures
