What you will do
As a Laboratory Technician in our Liners & Backings Lab, you will support the development and testing of polymer films and release liners used in high-performance adhesive tapes. Working as part of our Technology Lab team, you will play a key role in executing laboratory experiments, analyzing materials, and ensuring smooth day-to-day lab operations.
This position is strongly focused on hands-on laboratory work. You will collaborate closely with scientists and engineers, contributing to the evaluation and improvement of materials used in adhesive tape applications. Your work will support the development of reliable, high-quality, and more sustainable products.

As a Laboratory Technician in our Liners & Backings Lab, you will support the development and testing of polymer films and release liners used in high-performance adhesive tapes. Working as part of our Technology Lab team, you will play a key role in executing laboratory experiments, analyzing materials, and ensuring smooth day-to-day lab operations.
This position is strongly focused on hands-on laboratory work. Your tasks include
- Prepare, execute, and monitor laboratory experiments and pilot plant trials
- Support formulation work and testing of adhesive systems and related materials
- Analyze samples with regard to adhesive performance and polymer properties
- Accurately document test results and support data evaluation
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for project discussions
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality
- Ensure high standards of laboratory safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Support internal teams as well as external partners with testing activities
What you will need
- Completed vocational training (e.g. Chemical Laboratory Technician, CTA, or similar qualification)
- Initial professional experience in a laboratory environment is an advantage
- Strong hands-on laboratory skills and attention to detail
- Structured, reliable, and independent way of working
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
- Interest in material testing and applied laboratory work
- Good German and intermediate English language skills
